The Community of the Good Shepherd is an Anglican religious community, founded in 1978. A CGS nun consecrates herself wholly to God through taking vows of poverty, celibacy and obedience, living a life of prayer and service. CGS also has lay associate members who assist in the Community’s acts of service to the Diocese and beyond, namely baking communion wafers and sewing clerical vestments and sacramental linen.
