The following are the Diocesan prayer items for the week beginning Sunday 14th July 2019:
1. Thanksgiving
• We thank the Lord for the leadership of our nation and Sabah, for they have been appointed by God to bless this land.
2. Intercession
a) Praying for the Diocese family
• Pray for Christ the King of Kings Mission District, Sook. Priest-in-charge : Rev. Lim Chin Liang, his wife, his young family and all the pastoral team, that the Lord will supply all their needs.
◦ Increase of income and workers.
◦ That the church will find all sufficiency in the Lord. Pray for the faith of the church to arise and begin to see breakthroughs.
• Pray for all participants and organizers of the Diocesan English and Chinese Senior Citizen Retreat from 22-24 July in Kudat. Pray that all our senior citizen will be so blessed by the Lord, that they will in turn bless the younger generation in their families and in God’s family.

Dear Father in Heaven, we thank you for You keep our senior citizens as the apple of Your eye. You let them dwell in the secret place of the Most High and abide them under the shadow of the Almighty. They will declare, Lord God, You are my refuge and my fortress, in Him I will trust. For You will cover them with Your feathers, and under Your wings they will take refuge; Your truth shall be their shield and buckler.
This Diocesan English and Chinese Senior Citizen Retreat will draw them away and they will run after You, dwell in Your house all the days of their lives, no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling; On their journey to Kudat, You shall give Your angels charge over them, to keep them in all their ways. In their hands they shall bear them up, lest they dash their foot against a stone. We declare all participants set their love upon the Lord, therefore You will deliver them, they will call upon the Lord and You will answer them, You will be with them in trouble, You will deliver them and honor them, with long life You will satisfy them, and show them Your salvation.
Oh Lord, manifest Your mercy and love once again. Let everyone who is involved, ie. the organizer (Chairman Canon Chak), speakers, 400 participants, may their hearts be on fire and full of anticipation, seeking the Lord in unity, pleasing the Lord. With the anointing of the Holy Spirit they will overcome every obstacle with joy that it will wear down the enemy and cause him to flee. In the name of the Lord we declare, this retreat will overflow with the grace of God, so much so that it will continue to bless the next generation.
With thanksgiving, we pray all this in Jesus name. Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
• Pray that the Church will continue steadfastly in the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3), that we will preach the true gospel faithfully, making disciples and disciples makers.
• Pray that the Church will walk in the principles of Kingdom Finances, that we will see the release of God’s supernatural financial resources to build His Church and finance the work of the gospel. Pray for breakthrough in finances for the individual and the Church.
b) Praying for the sick
• Praying for healing for all those who are in need of healing in our congregations, spirit, soul or body.
c) Praying for the nations
• Pray for specific ministers and leaders in this nation and Sabah, especially those who profess to be Christians, that the Lord will make them Esther and Joseph in nation building.
• Continue to pray for restoration of all that the enemy has robbed this nation of – human resources, natural resources, financial resources, etc
• Speak peace and prosperity into our nation, harmony and love into the relationship between the various races and religions. Pray for the security and safety over the water region of Sabah.

Berikut adalah bahan doa bagi minggu yang bermula pada hari minggu, 14hb Julai 2019:
1. Kesyukuran
▪ Kita ucap syukur pada TUHAN ke atas kepimpinan negara dan Sabah, kerana mereka telah dipilih oleh Allah untuk memberkati tanah ini
2. Doa Syafaat
a. Berdoa untuk keluarga Diosis
◦ Berdoa untuk Misi Daerah Kristus Raja Segala Raja, Sook. Paderi penaung: Rev. Lim Chin Liang, isterinya, keluarganya dan semua ahli pasukan pastoral, agar TUHAN akan membekalkan semua keperluan mereka
i. Pertambahan pendapatan dan pekerja
ii. Agar gereja menemui semua kecukupan dalam TUHAN. Berdoa untuk membangkitkan iman gereja dan mula melihat penerobosan
◦ Berdoa untuk semue peserta dan penganjur Retret Warga Emas Diosis Inggeris dan Cina pada Julai 22-24 di Kudat. Berdoa agar semua warga emas akan diberkati oleh TUHAN, supaya mereka dapat memberkati generasi muda dalam keluarga mereka dan dalam keluarga Allah

Allah Bapa yang di syurga, kami bersyukur pada Engkau kerana pelihara warga emas kita seperti biji mata-Mu. Biarlah mereka tinggal di tempat perlingdungan-Mu dan berlindung di bawah naungan sayap-Mu. Dan mereka akan berkata “Tuhan-lah tempat perlindunganku dan kubu pertahananku, Allahku, yang ku percayai”, kerana Engkau akan melindungi mereka dengan sayap-Mu, dan mereka boleh bersandang pada-Mu di bawah sayap-Mu, kebenaran-Mu adalah perisai mereka.
Retret Warga Emas Diosis kali ini akan menarik mereka untuk berlari mengikuti-Mu, selalu diam di rumah TUHAN seumur hidup, bahawa malapetaka tidak akan menimpa mereka, dan tulah tidak akan mendekat kepada kemah mereka. Sepanjang perjalanan mereka ke Kudat, TUHAN Engkau akan melindungi mereka, dan malaikat-Mu akan menatang mereka, supaya kaki mereka tidak teratuk pada batu. Kami isytiharkan bahawa setiap peserta akan tumpu mengasihi-Mu TUHAN , dan Engaku akan menyelamatkan mereka, bila mereka berseru kepada-Mu, Engkau TUHAN akan menjawab, Engkau akan menyertai mereka dalam kesesakan, Engkau akan meluputkannya dan memuliakannya. Dengan panjang umur akan Engkau kenyangkan mereka, dan Engkau akan memperlihatkan kepada mereka keselamatan daripada-Mu.
O TUHAN, nyatakan rahmat dan kasih-Mu sekali lagi, agar setiap bahagian retret ini, sama ada pihak penganjur (pengerusi: Canon Chak Sen Fen), setiap pengkhotbah dan peserta yang seramai 400 orang, akan mengharapkan dengan hati yang membara, sehati sejiwa mencari TUHAN, mengundang kesenangan TUHAN. Urapan dan sukacita Roh Kudus akan melintasi semua rintangan, dan melelahkan musuh. Kami isytihar dalan Nama Yesus, rahmat-Mu TUHAN akan berkelimpahan pada retret ini, yang akan melimpahi dan memberkati generasi yang akan datang.

◦ Berdoa agar Gereja akan tetap kukuh dalam iman yang pernah disampaikan kepada orang-orang kudus (Yudas 1: 3), supaya kita akan memberitakan injil yang benar dengan taat dan setia, menjadikan orang ramai murid dan penjadi murid
◦ Berdoa agar Gereja akan berjalan pada prinsip-prinsip Kewangan Kerajaan Allah, supaya kita dapat lihat pelepasan sumber kewangan yang luar biasa Allah untuk membina Gereja-Nya dan kerja-kerja penginjilan. Berdoa untuk penerobosan dalam kewangan pada individu dan Gereja
b. Berdoa untuk mereka yang sakit
◦ Berdoa untuk semua orang yang memerlukan penyembuhan dalam roh, jiwa dan tubuh di kalangan jemaah kita
c. Berdoa untuk negara
◦ Berdoa untuk menteri dan pemimpin khusus di negara ini dan Sabah, terutamanya mereka yang berumat Kristian, agar TUHAN akan menjadikan mereka Ester dan Yusuf dalam pembangunan negara
◦ Teruskan berdoa kepada Allah untuk memulihkan segala yang telah dirompak oleh musuh dari negara ini – sumber daya manusia, sumber semula jadi, sumber kewangan, dll
◦ Ucap berkat damai dan kemakmuran pada negara kita, keharmonian dan kasih pada hubungan antara pelbagai kaum dan agama. Berdoa untuk keamanan dan keselematan di Kawasan perairan Sabah

• 我们为着我们国家和沙巴州的领袖感谢主，因为他们乃是被神拣选来祝福这土地的。
2. 代祷
a) 为教区大家庭祷告
• 为 Sook的Christ the King of Kings 宣教区祷告。牧正：Lim Chin Liang牧师，他的太太，他的家人和所有的教牧团队，求神供应他们所需的一切。
◦ 增加收入和工人。
◦ 教会所需的一切在主内得到满足。祈求教友的信心兴起并且开始看见突破。
• 7月22-24日，古达: 为所有举办和参与教区中英乐龄退休会的代祷。祈求上帝大大地祝福我们的乐龄人士，让他们也能够在家庭和上帝的大家庭来祝福更年轻的一代。

親愛的天父，感謝祢保護我們的長者如保護祢眼中的瞳人一般。常常譲他們住在祢至高的隱密處也必住在祢全能者的蔭下。他們要宣告「耶和華是我的避難所，是我的山寨，是我的神，是我所倚靠的，」因為祢必用自己的翎毛遮蔽他們，他們投靠在祢的翅膀底下，祢的誠實是他們大小的盾牌。
這次的教區中英文樂齡退休會將吸引他們追跑跟隨祢，一生一世住在你的殿中，因為禍患必不臨到他們，災害也不挨近他們的悵棚，在他們前住古達的路途，祢要吩咐袮的使徒，在他們所行的一切道路，無論海陸，空中上祢都保護他們，上下出入神的使者用手托著他們，免得他們的腳碰在石頭上。我們宣告每一位的參加者都是專心愛主，主就要搭救他們，他們若求告我，我就應允他們，他們在急難中，我要與他們同在，我必搭救他們，使他們尊貴，使他們足享長壽，將主的救恩顯明給他們。
主啊，再一次彰顯祢的憐憫和慈愛，使大會在各方面無論是主辦當局，（主席翟法政）各講員，參加者約400人，都有期待火熱的心，同心合意仰望主，帶來主的喜悅，聖靈的恩膏，喜樂滿滿的越過一切的阻礙，使仇敵疲乏逃亡。我們奉主的名宣告、這次的大會神恩典多到有餘，可以繼續祝福下一代。
我們如此感恩禱告奉主耶穌的名求。阿們。

• 为教会祷告，能够在信心上持续地为从前一次交付圣徒的真道竭力地争辩（犹大书1：3），让我们忠心地传讲真正的福音，使万民作耶稣的门徒和栽培门徒的人。
• 祷告祈求教会行出神国度里的财务原则，让我们看见神释放出超自然的财力资源来建造祂的教会和供应给福音上的财务需要。为教会和个人的财务方面得到突破祷告。
b) 为生病的祷告
• 为我们教会里需要得到身、心、灵上得医治的弟兄姐妹来祷告。
c) 为国家祷告
• 为这国家和沙巴州的各个部长和领袖祷告，特别自称是基督徒的，求主让他们成为建立这国家的以斯帖和约瑟。
• 继续祷告祈求上帝修复在这国家被仇敌抢夺的一切 – 人力财力和自然资源等等
• 宣告我们的国家有和平及繁荣，各个种族和宗教之间的关系有和平和慈爱。为沙巴区域的水祷告，保障和安全临到有水的地方。
