The following are the Diocesan prayer items for the week beginning Sunday 6th October 2019:
1. Thanksgiving
• We praise and thank the Lord for the election of Bishop Melter Jiki Tais as the 6th Archbishop and Primate of the Province of Southeast Asia on 24 September in Kuching. We pray for God’s wisdom, strength and favour upon Archbishop Elect Melter for the task God has appointed him to in the next 4 years.
2. Intercession
a) Praying for the Diocese family
• Pray for the Desert Stream Anglican Church, the Priest-in-Charge, Canon Kenneth Thien, his family, PCC and staff team, that the Lord will supply all their needs. Pray for:
◦ Authentic discipleship to raise up mature and effective disciples of Jesus to carry on the mission of the Church.
◦ Raising of spiritual leaders to lead cells, especially among men and the Chinese speaking.
◦ The equipping of the Church to broaden and expand the ministry and mission of the Church beyond KK.
b) Praying for the Province and the Anglican Communion
• The Province of Southeast Asia to break forth into new territories in mission and continue in the destiny and calling that God has appointed for us in the world.
c) Praying for the sick
• Praying for healing for all those who are in need of healing in our congregations, spirit, soul or body.
d) Praying for the nations
• Focusing on East Asia – pray for healings to come to the nations represented by CCEA (Council of the Church in East Asia), and revival to come to the Church in this region. Pray for hearts to be open to the gospel.
• Pray for a deep restructuring in the foundation of this nation – political and administration systems, education, finance and economy. Ask the Lord to free us from the spirit and effect of colonialism and poverty mentality
• Pray for racial and religious harmony. Ask the Lord to protect this nation from the divisive scheme of the enemy. Resist the works of the devil to “divide and rule”. Pray for unity and mutual respect among the people of this nation.

Berikut adalah bahan doa bagi minggu yang bermula pada hari minggu, 6hb Oktober 2019:
1. Kesyukuran
▪ Kita memuji dan bersyukur pada TUHAN ke atas pemilihan Bishop Melter Jiki Tais sebagai Archbishop yang ke-enam dan Primat Provinsi Asia Tenggara pada September 24 di Kuching. Kita berdoa agar hikmah, kekuatan dan nikmat Allah akan beserta dengan Bishop Melter sebagai Archbishop Terpilih untuk melaksanakan tugasan Allah dalam tempoh 4 tahun ini
2. Doa Syafaat
a. Berdoa untuk keluarga Diosis
◦ Berdoa untuk Gereja Anglikan Desert Stream, Paderi Penguasa, Canon Kenneth Thien, keluarganya, PCC dan staf, agar TUHAN akan memenuhi semua keperluan mereka melampaui imajinasi mereka
i. Pemuridan yang asli untuk membangunkan murid-murid Yesus yang matang dan efektif untuk melaksanakan misi Gereja
ii. Membangunkan pemimpin rohani untuk memimpin kelompok sel, terutama di kalangan lelaki dan sidang Cina
iii. Memperlengkapi Gereja untuk meluaskan dan mengembangkan pelayanan dan misi Gereja di luar KK
b. Berdoa untuk Provinsi dan Persekutuan Anglikan
◦ Provinsi Asia Tenggara untuk menerobos ke dalam wilayah-wilayah yang baru dalam misi dan melanjutkan dalam destini dan panggilan yang Allah tetapkan untuk kita di dunia
c. Berdoa untuk mereka yang sakit
◦ Berdoa untuk semua orang yang memerlukan penyembuhan dalam roh, jiwa dan tubuh di kalangan jemaah kita
d. Berdoa untuk bangsa-bangsa
◦ Fokus pada Asia Timur – berdoa untuk kesembuhan bangsa-bangsa yang diwakili dalam CCEA (Majlis Gereja di Asia Timur), dan kebangunan rohani Gereja di rantau ini. Berdoa agar hati mereka terbuka kepada injil
◦ Berdoa untuk penstrukturan semula yang medalam pada dasar negara ini – sistem politik dan pentadbiran, Pendidikan, kewangan dan ekonomi. Meminta TUHAN untuk membebaskan kita daripada roh penjajahan serta kesan-kesannya dan mentaliti kemiskinan
◦ Berdoa untuk keharmonian kaum dan agama. Meminta TUHAN untuk melindungi negara ini daripada muslihat perpecahan musuh. Menentang semua kerja iblis untuk “pecah dan perintah”. Berdoa untuk kesatuan dan saling menghormati di kalangan rakyat negara ini

1. 感恩
• 我们为 Melter Jiki Tais 会督在9月24日于古晋当选为第六任东南亚教省大主教感谢上帝。我们祷告祈求上帝的智慧、力量和恩惠常与任职为期四年的大主教当选人Melter 会督同在。
2. 代祷
a) 为教区大家庭祷告
• 为圣公会漠之泉堂祷告 – 牧正：邓仕荣法政牧师、家人、教会理事会及同工们，求神供应一切超乎他们所需所想。
◦ 以纯正的门徒来兴起耶稣成熟和有效的门徒来执行教会的大使命。
◦ 兴起属灵上的领袖来带领细胞小组，特别是男士们及中文部的会友。
◦ 教会的装备来扩大教会的事工和使命甚至超越亚庇。
b) 为教省和圣公宗祷告
• 东南亚教省在宣教事工上能够突破进入到新的领域，并且继续完成上帝委任我们在世上的命定和呼召。
c) 为生病的祷告
• 为我们教会里需要得到身、心、灵上得医治的弟兄姐妹来祷告。
d) 为国家祷告
• 以东亚为重点 – 祈求神的医治临到国家透过CCEA (东亚教会联会)的代表，以及复兴来到这个地带的教会。祷告有个敞开的心来领受福音。
• 为这个国家的根基祷告更深的重建 – 政治和行政系统、教育、金融和经济上。求神把我们从殖民主义和贫穷的心态在属灵上的影响释放出来。
• 为种族和宗教和谐祷告。祈求神保守这国家不受仇敌分裂并让它的诡计得逞。
抵挡魔鬼“分而治之”的作为。为这国家的人民祷告，能够彼此团结和互相尊重。
