The following are the Diocesan prayer items for the week beginning Sunday 21st July 2019:
1. Thanksgiving
• We thank the Lord for His faithfulness to His Church. We rejoice with St. Margaret’s Church, Keningau, in celebrating God’s faithfulness in the past 55 years.
2. Intercession
a) Praying for the Diocese family
• Pray for St. James’ Church, Kudat. Rector : Rev. Canon Emeritus Chak Sen Fen, his wife and son, and all the pastoral team, that the Lord will supply all their needs.
◦ Ask for strength and grace for the Diocesan English and Chinese Senior Citizen Retreat.
◦ Mobilization of laity into ministries, especially leadership in youth ministry.
◦ Leadership development and passion to reach out to lost souls.
• Pray for all participants and organizers of the Diocesan English and Chinese Senior Citizen Retreat from 22-24 July in Kudat. Pray that all our senior citizen will be so blessed by the Lord, that they will in turn bless the younger generation in their families and in God’s family.
• Pray for the English and Chinese Leaders Conference from 11-12 August at All Saints’ Cathedral. Pray for the stirring up of passion for the Lord and His ministries among the laity, that evangelism and discipleship can be more effective. Pray for the plenary sessions speakers: Bishop Melter, Bishop Emeritus Dr. Hwa Yung, Rev. Chai Lip Vui and all workshop speakers.
• Pray for the BM Young Adult Conference from 12-15 August at St. Patrick’s Church, Tawau. Pray for strength and wisdom for Dean Musa, the Coordinator for the Conference, his working committee. Ask the Lord to speak through the plenary sessions speakers: Bishop Melter, Bishop John Yeo, Ps. Nicholas Sarasta and all track speakers.
b) Praying for the sick
• Praying for healing for all those who are in need of healing in our congregations, spirit, soul or body.
c) Praying for the nations
• Pray for specific ministers and leaders in this nation and Sabah, especially those who profess to be Christians, that the Lord will make them Esther and Joseph in nation building.
• Continue to pray for restoration of all that the enemy has robbed this nation of – human resources, natural resources, financial resources, etc
• Pray for our youths that they may be shaped into men and women of integrity, embracing universal moral values.
• Speak peace and prosperity into our nation, harmony and love into the relationship between the various races and religions. Pray for the security and safety over the water region of Sabah.

Berikut adalah bahan doa bagi minggu yang bermula pada hari minggu, 21hb Julai 2019:
1. Kesyukuran
▪ Kita ucap syukur kepada TUHAN bagi taat dan setia-Nya pada Gereja-Nya. Kami bersukacita Bersama Gereja St. Margaret, Keningau dalam meraikan taat dan setia Allah selama 55 tahun ini
2. Doa Syafaat
a. Berdoa untuk keluarga Diosis
◦ Berdoa untuk Gereja St. James Kudat. Rektor: Rev. Canon Emeritus Chak Sen Fen, isteri dan anaknya, serta semua ahli pasukan pastoral, agar TUHAN akan membekalkan semua keperluan mereka
i. Memohon kekuatan dan rahmat semasa Retret Warga Emas Cina dan Inggeris Diosis
ii. Mobilisasi jemaat ke dalam pelayanan, terutamanya dalam kepimpinan pelayanan muda-mudi
iii. Pembangunan kepimpinan dan keghairahan untuk menjangkau pada jiwa-jiwa
◦ Berdoa untuk semua peserta dan penganjur Retret Warga Emas Diosis Inggeris dan Cina pada Julai 22-24 di Kudat. Berdoa agar semua warga emas akan diberkati oleh TUHAN, supaya mereka dapat memberkati generasi muda dalam keluarga mereka dan dalam keluarga Allah
◦ Berdoa untuk Konferensi Pemimpin Inggeris dan Cina pada Ogos 11-12 di Katedral All Saints. Berdoa untuk membangkitkan satu keghairahan pada TUHAN dan pelayanan-Nya di kalangan jemaat, agar penginjilan dan pemuridan boleh menjadi lebih efektif. Berdoa untuk semua pengkhotbah sesi: Bishop Melter, Bishop Emeritus Dr. Hwa Yung, Rev. Chai Lip Vui dan semua pengkhotbah bengkel
◦ Berdoa untuk Konferensi Belia BM pada Ogos 12-15 di Gereja St. Patrick Tawau. Berdoa agar kekuatan dan hikmah untuk beserta Dean Musa, penyelaras konferensi dan ahli jawatankkuasa. Memohon TUHAN untuk berbicara melalui semua pengkhotbah sesi: Bishop Melter, Bishop John Yeo, Ps. Bicholas Sarasta dan semua pengkhotbah trek
b. Berdoa untuk mereka yang sakit
◦ Berdoa untuk semua orang yang memerlukan penyembuhan dalam roh, jiwa dan tubuh di kalangan jemaah kita
c. Berdoa untuk negara
◦ Berdoa untuk para menteri dan pemimpin khusus di negara ini dan Sabah, terutamanya mereka yang menggelar diri mereka sebagai Kristian, agar TUHAN akan menjadikan mereka Ester dan Yusuf dalam pembangunan negara
◦ Teruskan berdoa kepada Allah untuk memulihkan segala yang telah dirompak oleh musuh dari negara ini – sumber daya manusia, sumber semula jadi, sumber kewangan, dll
◦ Berdoa untuk muda-mudi kita bahawa mereka akan dibentuk menjadi orang-orang yang berintegriti, merangkul nilai-nilai moral universal
◦ Ucap berkat damai dan kemakmuran pada negara kita, keharmonian dan kasih pada hubungan antara pelbagai kaum dan agama. Berdoa untuk keamanan dan keselematan pada kawasan perairan Sabah

• 我们感谢上帝对祂的教会是如此信实。我们同与根地咬圣玛格丽特堂欢喜快乐，庆祝上帝在过去55年的信实。
2. 代祷
a) 为教区大家庭祷告
• 为圣雅各堂，古达祷告。牧正：翟先宏法政牧师，他的太太和儿子，所有的教牧团队，求神供应他们所需的一切。
◦ 求主赐给他们力量和恩典来主办教区中英文乐龄退修会
◦ 推动平信徒参与事奉，尤其是兴起青少事工的领袖
◦ 建立领导层和拯救失丧灵魂的热心
• 7月22-24日，古达:为所有举办和参与教区中英乐龄退修会的代祷。祈求上帝大大地祝福我们的乐龄人士，让他们也能够在家庭和上帝的大家庭来祝福更年轻的一代。
• 8月11-12日，亚庇诸圣座堂：为教区中英文领袖大会代祷。祈求主挑旺平信徒为主火热和热心参与事奉，好让更加有效地传讲福音和门训。为大会的主讲员： Bishop Melter, Bishop Emeritus Dr. Hwa Yung, Rev. Chai Lip Vui 和所有工作坊的讲员祷告
• 8月12-15日，斗湖圣拔特堂：为马来文职青大会代祷。求神的力量和智慧临到Dean Musa，大会的协调员，和他的工作委员。求主透过大会主讲员： Bishop Melter, Bishop John Yeo, Ps. Nicholas Sarasta 和所有工作坊的讲员向他们说话
b) 为生病的祷告
• 为我们教会里需要得到身、心、灵上得医治的弟兄姐妹来祷告。
c) 为国家祷告
• 为这国家和沙巴州的各个部长和领袖祷告，特别自称是基督徒的，求主让他们成为建立这国家的以斯帖和约瑟。
• 继续祷告祈求上帝修复在这国家被仇敌抢夺的一切 – 人力财力和自然资源等等
• 为我们的青少年祷告，好让他们被塑造为正直诚实的一代，接受普世价值的道德观。
• 宣告我们的国家有和平及繁荣，各个种族和宗教之间的关系有和平和慈爱。为沙巴的水域祷告，保障和安全临到我们的水域。
